 The Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society registered under Societies Act is managing the D.A.V. Group of Schools. The first DAV School at Gopalapuram was established in 1970 and was bifurcated in 1995 and since then has been running in two different campuses as D.A.V. Boys Senior Secondary School and D.A.V. Girls Senior Secondary School. D.A.V. Girls Senior Secondary School Gopalapuram has an excellent infrastructure with highly qualified experienced and dedicated teaching staff. The CBSE examination results of AISSE (class X) and AISSCE (class XII) have been outstanding from the very beginning with a large number of subject centum merit certificates and high subject averages. In 2006 and 2007 our students emerged the Chennai Toppers in the class X CBSE examination.
