Birla Planetarium G.P.Birla Observatory Astronomical Research Centre (Founded by Nirmala Birla) G.P.Birla Museum Bhopal B.M.Birla Research Centre Ujjain Calcutta Ice Skating Rink - an auditorium and exhibition centre in Kolkata Nirmala Birla runs and manages the following temples and Rest Houses which were founded by B.M. Birla and GP Birla Lord Venkateshwara Temple Hyderabad Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple Jaipur Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple Bhopal Nav Durga Temple Kolkata Smt. Rukmani Devi Birla Mangal Bhawan Puri Birla Mangal Bhawan Jatipura Nirmala Birla has recently instituted the G P.Birla Educational Foundation Kolkata which grants scholarships to meritorious and needy students. Sm. Nirmala Birla is the Chairman of the Governing Body (Managing Committee). The Governing Body (Managing Committee) comprises the PresidentChairman Vice President and Secretary. Members include parents teachers doctors lawyers and eminent academicians.
