 Students are advised not to indulge in RAGGING of any type either inside the campus or outside. Any one indulging in the RAGGING will be punished severely. The IPC (Indian Penal Code) clearly describes the punishment as follows “Whoever directly or indirectly commits participates in abets or propagates RAGGING within or outside any educational institution shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and shall also be liable to fine which may extend to Rs.10000-” Hence RAGGING in any form will not be TOLERATED and the offenders will be dealt severely.
